Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Ches! My journey in the book world started on the corporate side, working in book publishing within sales and marketing. That experience gave me a deep, behind-the-scenes understanding of what makes a book succeed and how stories connect with readers.

Driven by a desire to create, I eventually transitioned into running my own business, where I spent years designing and crafting custom projects. Today, I’ve brought those two worlds together to pursue my ultimate passion: illustrating for authors.

Combining my marketing background with my love for the romance community, I don’t just draw characters—I help authors build visual worlds that captivate readers, elevate their brands, and bring fictional stories to life. When I'm not at my digital canvas, you can find me fangirling over my latest reads and sharing my creative journey on Instagram at @ChesReadsRomance.
